PK is registered to care for a maximum of 20 children per morning or afternoon session. Keeping PK small allows us to focus on the development of each child. We observe what a child can do and provide purposeful activities to extend their learning, following the Early Years Foundation Stage; thus enabling each child to reach his or her full potential.

There is additional funding available to early years providers to support the development, learning and care of eligible 3- and 4- year- olds who attend their setting to access their free early years funding place.

PK is a registered charity and is totally self-supporting.
Early Years Funding
PK offers 15 hours of government funded Early Years hours.
We are not able to offer 30-hour funding at currently.
The funding allows your child a maximum of 570 funded hours per birth year.

Fees
The current fees per session are: £10.00 per hour, for all non- funded and extra hours. All fees are payable half-termly and will be billed at the beginning of each half term.
We would appreciate prompt payment.
If your child is on holiday or unwell you are required to pay while they are absent.
We require half a term’s notice (or bill payment) if you wish to withdraw your child.
Should you ever have any difficulties regarding fees, please speak to Carol Houghton (Play Leader), in confidence.
PK is open from 09.00 – 15.00 Monday – Friday
We try our hardest to be amenable to every requirement and accommodate everyone’s needs.
Start (drop-off) times are:
09.00, 09.30, 10.00, 12.00, 12.30 and 13.00
Finish (pick-up) times are:
11.30, 12.00, 13.00, 13.30, 14.00, 14.30, 15.00
Children are welcome to stay all day depending on individual needs. We will do everything possible to accommodate you.
